With Toews out for the Blackhawks I think this could and will hurt them tremendously. I just don´t think they have another centre with enough fire power and make a big enough impact on the game as if Toews was playing.
Down 3-2 in the Stanley Cup Final after Saturday night's brutal Game, which saw Boychuk level Toews in front of the Boston goal, catching the Chicago captain's head with his forearm and knocking Toews out of the game for the third period. This hit drew strong reactions from many in the hockey community, but it´s not entirely surprising because Boychuk has hurt guys way worse in a Stanley Cup Final.

Speaking of injury, with each club wondering on the status of their best two-way centre, probably the largest mitigating factor going into game 6 is that the Blackhawks and Bruins have announced that Toews and Bergeron is listed as day to day and definitely won't announce what they know, until closer to game time.

Michal Handzus, Dave Bolland, or Andrew Shaw.

On the other hand with Bergeron out the Boston Bruins have a much better line up to replace him at centre, with David Krejci and bringing in Brad Marchand.

Going into game 6 with or without Toews and Bergeron, the Blackhawks have a chance to clinch their second Stanley Cup title in four seasons on Monday night in Boston. If they lose, the attention is shifted from the players on the ice to the ones who might not make it there, including two of the top forwards and biggest stars in the series.
The Bruins must bring there A game to match up with the Blackhawks to returns to Chicago for a decisive seventh game on Wednesday.
