Your Excellency Sir,
Pledge for More 900 Ambassadors, 2,500 Members and 6,000 Volunteers across the World to Support the United Nations´ Efforts against COVID-19
I humbly wish to, most respectfully introduce to His Excellency, the Global Youth Climate Action Initiative (Climate Action Group, as it is famously known), a Non-governmental global organization with primary focus on climate action and sustainable development. The Organization engages in raising awareness on climate change, advocacy and youth mobilization & empowerment for climate action and sustainable development. We work as a network of individual volunteers, as well as, partner and supporter group. We currently have presence in over 60 countries and 36 States of Nigeria with more than 900 Ambassadors, 2,500 Members and 6,000 Volunteers across the world. In addition, the Organization is already into partnership with more than 50 Governmental and Non-Governmental organizations across the globe including the International Human Right Commission and Clean-Up the World Australia.

His Excellency may wish to know that, Climate Action Group operates across six geographical regions of the world, namely Africa, Europe, West Asia, Asia-Pacific, Latin America & the Caribbean, and North America. Our membership cut across different professionals including health workers and medical professionals from every part of the world. Interestingly, since last year, the Climate Action Group has been actively involved in creating awareness, sensitization and mobilization of the public and educating the youth on the imperative of positive actions to revise the global climate change.
His Excellency may also wish to know some of the key achievements recorded by the Organization, including the following:
1. Organizing the Frist Africa Youth Climate Action Summit 2020, #AYCAS2020, the first of its kind in Nigeria, with the hope to receive delegates from more than 100 countries across the globe.
2. Organization of campaign on “Good Environmental Practices and Climate Change Awareness“ for primary and secondary schools in more than 60 countries across the world and 36 States of Nigeria.
3. Organization of social media campaign on the theme “Good Environmental Practices and Climate Change Awareness“ through the Organization´s social media handles.
4. Organization of nationwide awareness campaign on “Good Environmental Practices“ tagged #EnvironmentalAwarenessCampaign, the first of its kind in Nigeria, with an audience of more than 40,000 primary school pupils.
5. Organization of national “Tree Planting Campaign“ tagged #CAGTrees aims at planting 1,000,000 trees in strategic locations throughout Nigeria to check desertification.
6. Provision of platform for the establishment of Environmental Clubs with the name “Climate Action Group“ in selected primary and secondary schools in Nigeria, with a view to catching the children young and instill environment concern into the psyche.
Your Excellency Sir , sequel to the above, we humbly wish to seek for the support of the World Health Organization (WHO) in our new initiative as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic which involve series of activities on GOOD ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES & AWARENESS CAMPAIGN ON COVID-19 across the world. Through this means, we strongly belief that we can collectively help in eradicating the pandemic. Similarly, we would also appreciate it if our Organization would be involved in various United Nations Campaigns, including but not limited to, the Worldwide Health Awareness Campaigns, Food Drive Campaigns, COVID-19 Stay-At-Home Campaign, and Worldwide Consolation Ambience.
