USPA NEWS - Initially scheduled from April to October 2021, the Season of France in Japan has been rescheduled due to the health crisis linked to Covid-19 and the postponement to 2021 of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. It will now be held from October 2021 to March 2022 throughout the Japanese archipelago. Announced in September 2018 by the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, the Season of France in Japan will reflect the friendship and mutual attraction of our two countries through an innovative and participatory program. The Season will aim to celebrate this unique relationship, in particular by honoring Franco-Japanese co-productions. It will also be a relay between two major international meetings for which Japan and France will take over responsibility: the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo in the summer of 2021, then in Paris in 2024.
