Dutch Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima will visit the Turkish city of Istanbul on Saturday. The visit is part of the celebrations marking 400 years of diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and Turkey.
Dutch Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima will visit the Turkish city of Istanbul on Saturday. The visit is part of the celebrations marking 400 years of diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and Turkey.
The Dutch royal couple will be accompanied by Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs Frans Timmermans. Willem-Alexander will speak during the Dutch-Turkish Brainport Innovation and Career Seminar and his wife will give a speech at a meeting of the Global Entrepreneurs Week.
In the evening they will attend a concert by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Haliç Centre Concert Hall. Afterwards there will be a reception for the celebration of 400 years of Turkish-Dutch ties.

The Turkish President Abdullah Gul visited the Netherlands for a state visit in April and Prime Minister Mark Rutte is traveling this week to Turkey for an economic mission.
