TDP leaders submit petition to CE seeking regularization of all workers
Telugu Desam Party District Parliament President Mallela Lingareddy demanded that all contract workers that have been working for 15 years should be unconditionally regularized by implementing GO No 163. It is very regrettable that 39 contract workers working in APSPDCL, Nellore were given the opportunity to be promoted as Junior Assistant, JPA and became permanent employees in RTPP from November 1, he added. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, when he was in the opposition, made the promise during his padayatra and did not fulfill it, but issued orders regularizing only 39 workers, which is an injustice to the contract labor world, Lingareddy said.

Speaking on the occasion, TDP constituency in-charge Chadipiralla Bhupesh Reddy said that the contract workers working in RTPP should be regularized and given permanent jobs. He said that it is not rational to implement the GO No 163 for the Nellore workers. He demanded that 39 people be fired and replaced by contract workers immediately. This provision should be implemented unconditionally for the land losers and all the contract workers working in APGENCO.
Later, TDP leaders Mallela Lingareddy and Chadipiralla Bhupesh Reddy submitted a petition to RTPP Chief Engineer Murali Krishna on Wednesday evening seeking regularization of all contract workers.
