USPA NEWS - The UK-based Kashmiri international organization representing the diaspora and world-renowned think tank Global Pak-Kashmir Supreme Council Chairman Raja Sikandar Khan and their President Kala Khan organised & hosted a event under the title of “ISTIQAAM E PAKISTAN” expressing solidarity with the Armed Forces of Pakistan in West London for Pakistan's stability, with the chief guest of honour Pakistan Press Club UK President Shiraz Khan and Lahore Press Club Vice President Zaheer Babar as special guest and the event was presided by Kala Khan.

Sheraz Khan in his speech stated that the armed forces of Pakistan are the best professional forces in the world who have raised their flags of victory on every front and are pride of the nation of Pakistan, Since 9/11, nearly 80,000 people of the Pakistan Army soldiers have been martyred in the war on terrorism and these acts of terrorism are still ongoing and the armed forces are busy protecting the nation from terrorists on all fronts and In natural calamities, whenever earthquakes and floods engulfed the land of Pakistan, Pakistani armed forces played a very vitol role in rescuing the citizens and they are bravely offering their lives and serving in such places in the dimensions of Pakistan, Shiraz Khan said, the Kashmiri people always stand with the Pakistan Army.
Every time India attacked Pakistan, the armed forces of Pakistan responded with disdain.

Sheraz Khan also said that the Quaid-e-Azam had said on June 14, 1948 that the Pakistan Army is the servant of the people of Pakistan who protect the borders of Pakistan, they are defenders and the guardians of Pakistan's borders, but the work of the civil rulers is the work of the public representatives to formulate and formulate the civil policies of Pakistan."
Shiraz Khan said that for the stability of Pakistan it is necessary to have political stability and democracy in Pakistan, as politically stable Pakistan is the guarantor of the freedom of Kashmir.

Shiraz Khan strongly condemned the arrests of journalists and political activists in Pakistan and said He said that journalists and political workers are tortured in every era. He said that Pakistanis living in Britain, America and Europe are enjoying democracy in these countries. They should all raise their voice for the rights of journalists. Shiraz Khan said we demand from the government of Pakistan and should announce the Star Awards for those journalists in UK who always kept the knowledge of Pakistan and Kashmir issue above & high including Zahoor Niazi, Mohammad Sarwar and the late Mubeen Chaudhry.

Shiraz Khan demanded from the Pakistan High Commission that Raja Sikandar Khan's efforts for the Kashmir cause should be nominated for the award of Satara Imtiaz and he should be awarded on August 14 as a reward for keeping the knowledge of Pakistan & Kashmir issue High & above
as Raja Sikandar Khan has always raised his voice for the movement of Kashmir at every forum.
He described the services of Raja Sikandar Khan as a continuation of the efforts and like efforts of Maulana Muhammad Yaqub Chishti and the late Maulana Muhammad Bustan Qadri, who first raised their voice for the Kashmir movement here in 1960’s and onwards.

Raja Sikandar Khan while conducting the event in his speech said that the armed forces of Pakistan are the crown of our foreheads, just as the armed forces reside in the hearts of the Pakistani nation, in the same way as overseas Pakistanis and Kashmiris fully express their solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan while living in foreign countries.

In Raja Sikander’s concluding remarks he stated that the Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council expresses their solidarity the Armed Forces and all the institutions of Pakistan, we reiterate the stability of Pakistan and will continue to play our role for the institutions and people of Pakistan.
Zaheer Babar, Vice President of Lahore Press Club said in his in his address
said that we can only support the Pakistan army, Pakistanis cannot support the army of any enemy country, we are Pakistanis and Pakistan is ours and if the people of Pakistan are happy, then the armed forces and institutions are successful. At the time, ordinary Pakistanis are in a lot of trouble, the problems of the people should be removed and it is the responsibility of all the institutions to get the people out of the difficulties and work within their own limits.

Addressing the ceremony Kala Khan welcomed Shiraz Khan as the president-elect of Pakistan Press Club and thanked all the guests.
