Last year key figures can give you an idea what to expect this coming september. Among the 50 000 visitors, 50% were foreigners, there were 480 exhibitors, 500 new boats, 50 boat brokerage (second hand Yachts), 550 yachts, 93 world premieres, 180 Yachts over 18 meters, 115 sailboats. 80% of the boats can propose sea trials.

The press conference to introduce this year "YACHTING FESTIVAL CANNES", was held on the Péniche Les Jardins du Pont-Neuf (Isle de la Cité) in Paris on June 16.
The presentation was done by two major personalities of the Yachting Festival Cannes :

- Alain Pichavant, Director of Seas and Leisure Department (Directeur de la Division Mers et Loisirs)

It will be welcoming exhibitors, visitors, owners and future buyers from the world of Yachting. Also, the greatest international brokers will be there. The Port PIERRE CANTO is where you can find large second hand yachts for sale and / or for rental.
This is the only in water show in Europe. You can find there the finest new models created by famous international shipyards. Including : water motor yachts, sailing boats, monohulls and multihulls (from 10 to 15 meters), also small boats on land.

Two new events will be held :
- First Concours d'Elegance Cannes - Thursday September 10th at 5 pm at Le Vieux Port (Cannes)
This is only for motor and day boats under 12 meters destinated to exhibitors, owners and collectors. There are three categories : before 1975, from 1976 to 2000, since 2000. The parade will take place in the middle of the Vieux Port near "La Grande Traversante". The boats will parade around a floating pontoon where the jury will be installed.
Also, new this year to be discovered the RIB VILLAGE: all the inflatable boats & RIB's gathered in one place (on land and in water).

This is the First Night Sup relay Race in the world. It will be held on Friday September 11.
A Relay Race of stand-up paddle of 15 hours and of about 100 km. It is for professionals and amateurs participating in solo or with a crew.
The departure will take place on the Festival Beach on Friday September 11 at 7 pm. The arrival will start saturday at 10 am in the middle of Le Vieux Port and of exhibited yachts.
The award will be given at 11.30 am on the Festival's Beach.
The inscriptions will be done online. A valid medical certificate is required. You have different classifications and categories : "Single" = Man / Woman. "Team" = Men & Mixted / Women.
