At least 10 killed in Turkey-Syrian border car blast
USPA News -
At least ten people were killed and tens of others injured after a car bomb attack in southern Turkey, local media reported on Monday. The blast took place at the Turkish-Syrian border gate of Cilvegözü, located in the district of Reyhanl? in the southern province of Hatay, when a vehicle exploded.
According to reports, the vehicle had Syrian license plates, which has triggered fear of Syria`s nearly 2-year conflict spreading out towards Turkey, Today`s Zaman reported. An initial death toll of nine people included five Syrians and four Turks. However, local media said at least ten people had died, with at least 30 others injured. Initial reports also signaled a possible mortar attack, but officials later ruled it out.
