FRENCH ADAPTATION OF THE SEINE NORMANDY BASIN TO THE CLIMATE CHANGE SDAGE

The Basin Committee indicates the need for the "Schema Master Development and Water Management" (SDAGE) 2016-2021 includes the impact of climate change on water resources and aquatic environments, the consequences are already being felt. All these proposals were discussed and led to modify provisions of the SDAGE 89 (of a total de 195 provisions). Many of these comments are answered in the corrections made after reviewing the legal guidelines and provisions of the SDAGE and allow to secure its implementation. In terms of schedule, this scheme will be submitted for approval to the Basin Committee Thursday, November 5, 2015, then stopped by the prefect of the region of ÃŽle-de-France, jean Francois Carenco, and Basin Coordinator Prefect before the end of the year 2015. The mid-term review of the 10th multi-year program of intervention of the agency is the opportunity to adjust the program to the objectives of the new SDAGE.
