The Villegiature Awards, created in 2003, reward the Best Hotels in Europe, Africa, Asia and Middle-East. To enter the 2016 contest, the registration must be received before March 18, 2016. The 2015 Villegiature Awards were announced this October 19th, 2015 at Hotel Paris Opéra in presence of several press agencies from America, Middle East and Africa and in presence of diplomats.
Regarding the Villegiature Awards spirit, an independent Jury from powerful media in search of new establishments, putting to advantage the talents and the innovation. The Jury is made of twenty two press correspondents and journalists from renowed media present all over the world. Each correspondent acts as n ambassador of his country clientele with its own perceptions. The Jury members hotels managers give their practical and wise experience but do not vote.
For the nominees and winners, the Villegiature Awards ensure an efficient press coverage. It is also a perfect way to motivate their internal teams. The candidates are in contact with the Jury not only during the year of the participation but also during the following years. The Jury members communicate through their media on the hotels candidates they visit during the year of the edition but also during the following years if the hotel keep them informed.

- INTERNET PERFORMANCE : a very open copetition betwee, international web agencies, independent hotels with sometimes outstanding websites and specialists of the internet world.
- ARCHITECTS AND DESIGNERS.
- FLORAL DECORATION.
- CHEFS AND BARMEN : the Awards obtained in culinary guides are not taken into account in the selection criteria of the Jury who above all is in search of excellence, novelty and creation. it is not the decorum and the amount of the bill that make the winners but a whole set of criterias estimated by a Jury at the nationalities and very diverse temperaments.

- SERVICE : the most audacious category to be judged because dependent on real life experiences when the Jury members visit the hotel. Every year the number of candidates is growing in this essential category by luxury hospitality.
- SPA & FITNESS : since the middle of 2000's, hospitality managers have really taken into account the desire of relaxation of its clientele.
