THE VACATION IS NOT A LUXURY BUT COULD BE AFFORDABLE TO THE POOREST----------------------------------
One in three children can not go on vacation. 80 years after the filing of the law on paid leave of 9 June 1936, the President of People's Aid is calling for solidarity to roll back this injustice. This solidarity initiative is of course a first for these troubled youth who do not have the means to practice a leisure thrills. The adventure program was departing from Evry for the meeting point for a short journey in a coach, at 8 am, followed by a collective briefing at 10 am, before actually managing the parachute jumps for the youngsters at 4000 m height. Given this situation, SPF offers youth-friendly receptions, near their living places or study, open for drinks and in which new solidarities are in place. 80 years after the vote of the Holiday Act, 1 in 3 children and 1 in 2 French are still deprived of vacation. When they are going through difficult times, people in difficulty do not think leisure. Yet exit permits to forget their daily worries, strengthen social ties and unforgettable moments to come back stronger.
